Download a copy
Use the map’s download arrow (⇩) to save an image. Add it to a document or presentation. To return to an editable main map later, use a free account and “Save as new”.
Print and make it yours
Open the downloaded image and choose Print. Try landscape, fit to page and check the preview. An outline or monochrome world map works well for handwritten notes and annotations.

Do I need an account?
You can explore the maps and play the Country Game without an account. A free account lets you save editable maps in the main map maker and return to them on another device. Image downloads do not require signing in.
Which map should I start with?
Use the main map maker for streets, addresses and local plans. Choose the Equal Earth World Map for country labels and global views, or Wiki Locations to discover places nearby. The previews above let you try each tool.
Can I use a map in a presentation?
Use the map’s download button to save an image, then add it to your slides or document. Keep the map attribution visible and check the source and licence information for historical maps.
Where can I find instructions?
Open a map and select “How to use”, or “How to play” in the Country Game. Historical Maps has a “Map info” panel with information about each map and its source. For learning activities, visit For Schools.
