Create a free account with only an email address and password. Your saved maps will then be available on your other devices.
Bring your family history to life on a street or satellite map. Right-click on desktop or press and hold on mobile to add a marker, just like MarkAndMap. You can also search for a place to add a marker there. Click or tap the marker to enter the person’s details.
Add a header and free text to tell your family story. You can include names, relationships, dates and places, or leave either field blank.
Select Done to close the popup. When headers are shown, your header and free text appear centered in a box on the map. Select the box to edit it, or drag it to move it. Use Options to hide headers or change map and marker styles. Delete removes one marker; Delete all clears the map.
Sign in to your existing MarkAndMap account and open My maps. Save as new stores a private, editable copy; Save changes updates the map you opened. Your ancestors and their details are saved alongside the map view and settings.
Download an image or use Share to create a link containing the map and its ancestor details. Anyone with that link can read the included information.
